The number of infections with coronavirus soared by 19,790 to reach 873,800 in the United Kingdom, the country’s health authorities announced on Sunday.
Health officials unveiled 151 new deaths in the past 24 hours, raising the nation’s total number of virus-caused deaths to 44,896.
