Conservative MP Sir David Amess has died after being stabbed during a constituency surgery in Essex.
The attack took place at Belfair’s Methodist Church in Leigh at about midday. Essex Police said a man had been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Counter-terror police are involved in the early investigation.
