An Algerian student called Mohamed Taleb was killed after a Russian bombardment in Ukraine, according to the statement of his family living in Tlemcen in Algeria.
The 25-year-old victim was an aerospace engineering student in Ukraine’s capital, Kiev. His family stated that he lives in Dubai and he travelled from the United Arab Emirates, to study in Ukraine, he may not be registered with the Algerian Consulate in Ukraine.
His father, likewise in the Emirates, contacted the family in Tlemcen to notify them of the death of his son, as the first Algerian victim of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
