The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) reported that at least 25% of the injured in Gaza face life-changing injuries.
UNRWA highlighted its efforts to support those affected, stating it collaborates with partners to provide assistive devices, rehabilitation, and mental health services.
These injuries have been linked to bombings and shelling in Gaza over the last 14 months during Israel’s ongoing offensive.
