United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said on Wednesday that the situation in the Middle East could escalate following the pager explosions in Lebanon and Syria that had dire consequences.
“Obviously the logic of making all these devices explode is to do it as a pre-emptive strike before a major military operation,” Guterres told reporters
