The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said on Friday that an estimated 630,000 Palestinians have fled Gaza’s southern city of Rafah since May 6 after the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) started making advances toward the region.
“Many have sought refuge in Deir al-Balah, which is now unbearably overcrowded with dire conditions,” UNRWA said in the statement
