The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini in a post on social media platform X on Friday thanked Australia for resuming the agency’s funding.
“I hope that other donors who have temporarily paused their contribution will make similar announcements & support the Agency to reverse the widespread hunger in Gaza & to remain a lifeline for Palestine Refugees across the region,” he noted.
