Philippe Lazarini, commissioner general of the United Nations Agency for the relief and Employment of Palestinian refugees in the Middle East (UNRWA), stated that 625,000 children in Gaza had lost a school year, including 300,000 students in the ‘agency.
“The impact of the war in Gaza on children is enormous, particularly on their mental and psychological health, and we must get them back to learning collaboratively with partners,” one tweet read.
