Tunisia is experiencing noticeable weather instability this Wednesday, according to the National Institute of Meteorology. Residual rain is expected in the far southeast during the morning, before clouds gradually thicken in the western regions of the north and center in the afternoon, bringing temporarily stormy showers.
Rainfall will then extend progressively to the rest of the northern regions, the central-east and locally the south, with heavy showers at times, especially along the northern coasts and in the governorates of Kef, Siliana and Kasserine. Hail may also fall in isolated areas.
Winds will blow from the west, relatively strong over the Gulf of Gabes and weak to moderate elsewhere, before strengthening again in the afternoon over the Se’rât area and the highlands, exceeding 60 km/h in gusts, particularly during thunderstorms.
The sea will be rough in the Gulf of Gabes and slightly to moderately choppy along the other coasts.
Temperatures will range between 15°C and 20°C in most regions, not exceeding 13°C in the western highlands, reinforcing a feeling of cold, especially with strong winds.
