The United States announced on Thursday that it will allocate $85 million in aid to Turkey and Syria to mend the effects of the deadly earthquake that killed over 20,000 people.
The US Agency for International Development issued a statement that the sum will be distributed through emergency networks “to deliver urgently needed aid for millions of people” and will include food, shelter, and health services.
