The United States posted 319,456 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, a new record since the pandemic started, data from the John Hopkins University showed on Saturday.
Since the beginning of the outbreak, 37,475,125 people have tested positive for COVID-19. Out of the figure 626,934 infections ended in death.
