The United States and the United Kingdom sanctioned seven Russian “cyber criminals,” Britain’s Foreign Office revealed on Thursday.
The US Treasury Department claimed that the sanctioned individuals are members of the “cybercrime gang Trickbot,” and US Treasury Under Secretary Brian Nelson alleged that “cyber criminals, particularly those based in Russia, seek to attack critical infrastructure, target US businesses, and exploit the international financial system.”
