Major Disruptions at Airports
The storm had an immediate impact on air traffic. At Istanbul Airport, 64 flights were canceled, evenly split between domestic and international routes. Meanwhile, Sabiha Gökçen Airport announced the cancellation of 33 flights, most of them domestic.
