The Tunisian Water Observatory (OTE) revealed, in its latest report, that 166 reports were registered in connection with problems of access to drinking water in December 2024.
The same source specifies that the reports are distributed as follows: 138 alerts for water cuts, 13 alerts on protest movements claiming the water right, 13 alerts concerning water leaks and 2 alerts concerning the quality of the water distributed.
