“welcome Bac”: In Sfax, a Free Support Program for Future Baccalaureate Candidates

The regional office of the Tunisian Organization for Education and the Family in Sfax has launched the “Bienvenue Bac” initiative this Monday at its headquarters, known as “Dar El Ousra.” Running until May 30, the program is designed to assist final-year secondary students with review sessions in all subjects, along with psychological, pedagogical, and health support.

300 hours of academic and personal coaching

According to Mohamed Laâdhar, head of the regional office, the initiative is part of a nationwide program deployed across Tunisia in preparation for the 2024 baccalaureate exams.
Each academic stream is allocated 300 hours, divided as follows:

  • 280 hours of review classes,
  • 20 hours of psychological, pedagogical, and health guidance.

All sessions are completely free of charge and delivered voluntarily by experienced teachers, with the goal of easing financial burdens on Tunisian families and giving all students a fair shot at success.

In synergy with “Radio Bac”

“Bienvenue Bac” complements the “Radio Bac” program, launched at the national level by the same organization in partnership with Radio Jeunes. Running from May 1 to June 1 for the second consecutive year, Radio Bac offers educational content accessible to students across the country, both on-air and online.

An inclusive and supportive approach to success

Through “Bienvenue Bac,” the Tunisian Organization for Education and the Family reinforces its commitment to equitable and inclusive education. Just weeks before the baccalaureate exam, this solidarity-driven initiative provides a supportive environment that fosters focus, confidence, and academic achievement for all students.
