President of the Assembly of People’s Representatives (ARP), Brahim Bouderbala, Wednesday, expressed will to support Tunisian women, increase their presence in decision-making positions, provide assistance to women active in various fields and help vulnerable women, particularly those facing difficult socio-economic situations.
In a speech during a visit he made to the Modern Agricultural Training Center of Chebeda-Naasan (governorate of Ben Arous), Bouderbela reiterated the right of Tunisian women to work and dignity, whether in urban or rural areas, adding that that the new parliament, which includes 24 women deputies, will help consolidate national efforts aimed at promoting the status of Tunisian women and preserving their achievements.
