FIFA’s Referees Committee has appointed Dutch official Danny Makkelie to take charge of the opening match between Espérance de Tunis and Brazil’s Flamengo.
Makkelie will be assisted by fellow countrymen Hessel Steegstra and Jan de Vries, while China’s Ma Ning has been designated as the fourth official.
As a reminder, the Group D match in the group stage is scheduled to take place on Tuesday morning, June 17, at 2:00 a.m. Tunisian time.
