WTA Rankings: Ons Jabeur Plummets Again

The latest WTA rankings, published this Monday, show a significant drop for Tunisian tennis star Ons Jabeur, who has fallen eight spots—from 28th to 36th place—with a total of 1,458 points.

This decline is largely attributed to her second-round exit at the Madrid Open, where she was defeated by Japan’s Moyuka Uchijima. Uchijima, in contrast, climbed nine spots in the rankings to reach 47th place after advancing to the quarterfinals of the WTA 1000 tournament.

At the top of the new standings is Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, maintaining her lead ahead of Iga Świątek. Coco Gauff has reclaimed the No. 3 spot, pushing Jessica Pegula down to fourth.
