Speaking to a private radio station, Consul General of France in Tunisia Dominique Mas said “Recently, there has been a difficulty getting a visa appointment because of a change we had in our visa application platform.”
“We do not have enough human or material resources to process the exponential visa requests, particularly to France. That’s why; it was a bit complicated at the time of the resumption.”
“We will add 2,000 extra appointments as of May 3. Within few weeks, we will open appointments for June,” he pointed out, adding that these measures were taken to fight against fraud.
