4.9-magnitude earthquake hits Milan area

The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported on Saturday a 4.9-magnitude earthquake just outside Milan, Italy.

The tremor struck approximately 29 kilometers east of the Lombardy province capital and 6 kilometers west-southwest from Bergamo, at a depth of 30 km.

Local authorities have not yet reported any casualties.
