A 4.9-magnitude earthquake shook Iran’s Razavi Khorasan Province on Tuesday, according to the data shown by the United States Geological Survey (USGS), killing at least four people and injuring multiple more.
The epicenter of the earthquake was recorded at a depth of 10 kilometers and was situated 2.6 kilometers southeast of Kashmar, a city in the northeastern region of Iran. This area is home to approximately 96,151 individuals. The mayor of Kashmar has reported that the earthquake has caused 120 injuries thus far, with 35 individuals requiring hospitalization.
