A 5.3-magnitude earthquake shook Eastern Honshu, Japan, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
The earthquake’s epicenter was located some 16 kilometers northeast of the city of Kasukabe with a population of approximately 206,000 people at a depth of 56 kilometers.
