5.6-magnitude quake hits off Canada’s coast

A 5.6-magnitude earthquake was recorded off the coast of Canada, according to data provided by the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

The quake hit at a shallow depth of about 10 kilometres with an epicentre some 4228 kilometres south of the city of Port McNeill, home to a population of about two thousand people.
