A bus crash that took place on Christmas Eve in British Columbia, Canada left 53 people hospitalized, regional health authorities announced on Sunday, without providing details about the extent of their injuries.
“Our thoughts are with those impacted by the crash, their loved ones, and the first responders and health-care workers giving their all to treat people and keep them safe,” Premier of British Columbia David Eby wrote after the incident.
The cause of the accident remains unknown as of yet.
