6.4-magnitude quake hits southern Philippines

An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 struck the southern Philippines, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said on Wednesday.

The quake’s epicenter was registered 130 kilometers away from the city of General Santos, located in the region of Soccsksargen. The earthquake hit at a depth of 121.7 kilometers.
