An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.7 struck off the coast of Nicaragua on Wednesday, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) said.
The quake was registered 80 kilometers southwest of the town of Corinto and 157 kilometers west of Nicaragua’s capital Managua at a depth of 10 kilometers.
There were no reports of potential damage or casualties.
