In a public speech on Wednesday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s actions during the conflict with Hamas, asserting that Netanyahu is no different from Hitler.
Erdogan continued his critique by slamming organizations such as the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), international media, and the European bloc, accusing them of budget spending to support Israel while remaining silent in the face of what he termed Israel’s “atrocities.”
Moreover, Erdogan offered Turkish academic institutions as a sanctuary for scientists and personnel from Gaza’s universities who, in his view, “are subjected to oppression for defending human dignity” in Israel. He drew a comparison with cases from Nazi Germany to emphasize his point.
