The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research reported that the 2024-2025 academic year will take place on September 2 for preparatory institutes for engineering studies, engineering training schools and institutes, the National School of Architecture and Town Planning of Tunisia, the faculties of medicine, dentistry and pharmacy, the national school of veterinary medicine of Sidi Thabet and the higher institutes of technological studies.
The beginning of the academic year for students of other establishments will take place on September 12, according to what the ministry has confirmed in the calendar of the new academic year and the periods of stopping classes that it has directed to educational establishments public and private higher education.
The ministry explained that the academic year includes at least 28 weeks of courses without taking into account holidays and exams, except for training, which is subject to specific legal provisions.
