A constitutional declaration signed between the Military and the opposition in Sudan

Sudan’s executive military council cordially approved a constitutional declaration with the official opposition to pave the way to a transitional government. A collective civilian-military council will ensure the official establishment of a civilian government and a parliament for a three-year transition period. The opposition movement leader Ahmed Rabie and the deputy head of the ruling military council General Mohamed Hamdan Daglo approved the constitutional declaration at a convention attended by African Union and Ethiopian arbitrators.
