Specialists from the Solar Astronomy Laboratory of the Space Research Institute and the Institute of Helio-Earth Physics of the Russian Academy of Sciences predict that the Earth will be exposed to a new magnetic storm tomorrow, Tuesday, January 23, 2024.
According to experts, the peak of the magnetic storm will reach six a.m. on Tuesday and at noon on the same day, but it will be weak from level G1 (the highest level is G5). This can, nevertheless, impact the health of some people.
It is worth mentioning that laboratory experts previously reported that the strongest flare of the current solar cycle occurred on the night of January 1, 2024 (X5.0 degrees, approximately twice the degree of the flare of X2.8 occurring on January 1, 2024).
