According to a statement on Sunday, 3 Tunisian clubs will be exempted from matches in the first round of African interclub competitions. The clubs are Espérance de Tunis (CAF C1), Club Sportif Sfaxien and Club Africain (CAF Cup) who will not play the first round matches while US Monastir will be will play the first round of the Champions League.
