Aggression on Gaza: McDonald’s reacts to calls for boycott

Several international firms are currently the subject of calls for boycotts in the Arab and Muslim world following the of Israeli aggression against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

These international brands are suspected of having helped the Israeli army in its attack against civilians, especially women and children, in the Gaza Strip.

For example, McDonald’s France responded to calls for a boycott. The company, which says it is deeply troubled, issued details on this matter on the X network. “McDonald’s does not fund or support any government involved in this conflict. All initiatives by our local Master Franchisees were taken independently, without the consent or approval of McDonald’s.”

In Tunisia, several brands, especially in mass distribution and fast food, have been the subject of calls for boycotts by civil society activists in support of the Palestinians.
