Agricultural investments decrease 46% in 2022 in Tataouine

Agricultural investments dropped by 46% in the governorate of Tataouine in 2022 compared to the previous year, due to the delay in the allocation of credits to approved files whose subsidies ready to be disbursed are worth TND 1,144,000.

Local Director of the Agency of the Promotion of Agricultural Investments (APIA) in Tataouine Moncef Bouchnak said that APIA recorded 35 investment operations estimated at TND 1,696,000 in the sectors of olive tree planting, installation of irrigation equipment and other agricultural services

Agricultural investments in 2022 involved the sectors of fruit trees (48%), olive tree planting (33%), livestock (15%) and vegetables (4%).
