Ain Draham: Attempted smuggling of pink flamingos to Algeria foiled

Customs officers in Babouch, in the delegation of Ain Draham, the governorate of Jendouba, managed to thwart, on the morning of Sunday, February 9, 2025, an attempt to traffic 10 rare pink flamingos to Algeria, aboard a vehicle.

According to the same source, the brigade seized the birds and took all required legal measures, including coordination with the services of the regional delegation for agricultural development to reintroduce the pink flamingos into their natural habitat.
