Al Qassam brigades reportedly captured and killed several IDF soldiers

The military spokesman of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Abou Oubaida, declared the capture, death and wounding of Israeli soldiers during a complex operation on Saturday afternoon in the north of the Strip. Gaza, where they drew an Israeli force into a tunnel in the Jabalia camp.

Abu Oubaida stated, in a video speech broadcast by Al Jazeera, that fighters from the “Al-Qassam Brigades”, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, ambushed members of the Israeli forces inside a tunnel in Jabalia and they were capable of confronting this force at “zero distance”.

He clarified that Al-Qassam fighters attacked the support force which rushed to the scene with explosive devices, hit them directly, then retreated after blowing up the tunnel used in the operation.

Abu Oubaida confirmed that Al-Qassam fighters killed, wounded and captured all members of the Israeli forces and seized war materials.

He pointed out that Al-Qassam fighters carried out dozens of operations against the occupying forces for more than two weeks in Rafah and Beit Hanoun.

Abu Oubaida emphasised that the occupying army “presents the exhumation as a military and moral success.” He added that it is “digging up the remains of its captives for the sake of Netanyahu’s machinations.”

The spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades stated that the occupation government was going from failure to failure, and that the latest chapter of failure is the one that the occupation forces made in Jabalia and Rafah.

He underscored that the occupation government continues what he described as its blind and absurd policy of vengeance and destruction, stressing that Al-Qassam fighters continue to teach lessons to the occupation on the fields of battle.
