Algeria: Abdelmadjid Tebboune appoints Aymen Benabderrahmane Prime Minister

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, designated this Wednesday, June 30, Aymen Benabderrahmane as prime minister. He will be responsible for continuing consultations with political parties and civil society with a view to forming a government, the Presidency of the Republic said in a statement.

As a reminder, Prime Minister, Abdelaziz Djerad, presented Thursday, June 24 the resignation of his government to  Abdelmadjid Tebboune. However, the head of state instructed him to manage the caretaker government, pending the appointment of the new government.
