Algeria: Elimination of three dangerous terrorists

The Algerian army reported on Sunday that it had “eliminated 3 dangerous terrorists” and seized two Kalashnikov rifles and quantities of ammunition during an operation yesterday in the north of the country.

The Algerian Ministry of Defense clarified in a press release that “As part of the fight against terrorism and following a sweeping operation in the region of ​​Tashta Zougha in Attaf in the military sector of Ain Defla, units of the army were able to eliminate 3 dangerous terrorists on Saturday.

The press release added: “The case involves the terrorist Dabar Boumediene, the terrorist Hamnash Ibrahim and the terrorist Allali Mohamed. »

The ministry revealed that “the operation resulted in the seizure of two Kalashnikov assault rifles and quantities of ammunition.”

It emphasised that “this operation once again confirms the vigilance and determination of the units of the National People’s Army to track down the shelters of these criminals throughout the national territory, until their definitive elimination,” according to the text of the press release.
