The director of the Pasteur Institute in Algeria confirmed this Sunday that one of the two patients who tested positive for the British strain of COVID-19 has recovered from his infection. The second patient, meantime, is still under close medical supervision.
As a reminder, Algeria registered two cases of the new strain last Thursday. Following the discovery, Algerian authorities cordoned off the country and suspended all flights to and from Algeria.
