Algeria: Mohamed Laagab, new Minister of Communication

Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on Sunday designated Mohamed Laagab as Minister of Communication, according to the official news agency.

“In application of the provisions of Articles 91 (paragraph 7) and 104 of the Constitution, and after consultation with the Prime Minister, the President of the Republic, Mr Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, has designated this Sunday, September 3, 2023, corresponding to 17 Safar 1445 of the Hegira, Mr. Mohamed Laagab as Minister of Communication“ adds the same source.
