Algeria: Seven dead in new road tragedy

A fatal road accident killed 7 people, on Thursday, in the village of Bizou, commune of Akbou, towards the Algerian wilaya of Bejaia, the Algerian Public Television reported.

The Media Center clarified on its official “My route” page that the accident happened on the highway in Bejaia, exactly at the village of Bizou, commune of Akbou, in the direction of Bejaia.

Members of the road safety company of the Algerian National Gendarmerie in Sidi Yaïch travelled to the site to take the required measures and facilitate traffic, calling on “road users to reduce their speed and respect the safety distance”.
