Algeria plans to propose a draft resolution to the United Nations Security Council to halt the violence in Rafah, said Algeria’s UN Ambassador Amar Bendjama (pictured).
This announcement followed a private meeting of the 15-member council discussing Israel’s eight-month conflict in Gaza.
“Algeria will circulate a draft resolution on Rafah this afternoon,” Bendjama stated.
