Algiers opens its arms to Sfaxian businessmen, charmed by new Investment Code

By:

The Sfax Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIS) is departing to Algiers. A multi-sector business mission and a Tunisian-Algerian Investment and Partnership Forum will occur there from May 5 to 9. The menu of meetings to seal alliances and investments between members of the Tunisian delegation and Algerian entrepreneurs specifies the CCIS on its site.

Similarly, this mission scheduled with the collaboration of several chambers of commerce and industry and other Algerian organizations includes visits to economic structures and industrial units. There will also be meetings at the BATIMATEC construction fair, planned in Algiers during the same period.

Sfaxi businessmen are banking heavily on this travel to increase the level of economic relations between the two countries, especially in the area of joint investments. According to the CCIS, the new Algerian Investment Code is likely to promote the rise of Tunisian products on the Algerian market and a strengthening of the bilateral partnership.
