Almost half a million displaced in Lebanon

Speaking on the sidelines of a conference at the UN General Assembly, Lebanese Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib disclosed that nearly 500,000 Lebanese have been forced to flee their houses due to the intensified Israeli bombardments.

The Foreign Minister also remarked that before the recent escalation, the country was already hosting 110,000 displaced people.
