Angela Merkel opts to sit during Danish prime minister welcoming ceremony

German Chancellor Angela Merkel sat down throughout Danish prime minister Mette Frederiksen greeting ceremony. Merkel promptly communicated that she was fine and capable of faithfully carrying out her official duties. Within an elevated span of three weeks, Merkel undoubtedly suffered three shaking episodes.

During a joint conference with Frederiksen Merkel said: “You can assume that firstly, I know the responsibilities of my office and that I, therefore, act accordingly with regard to my health,”.

Moreover, Ulrike Demmer, Merkel’s spokeswoman refused to discuss at length whether there were other trembling episodes suffered by the German chancellor. With lingering anxiety over Merkel health state, Germany is uneasy about what to come next.
