Arrest of first head of Daesh branch in Libya

GNU Prime Minister Abdelhamid Dbaiba, revealed today, Friday, the arrest of the first leader of the terrorist organization DAESH in Libya, Hachem Bousedra.

Dbaiba stated in a message published today on his Facebook page: “The completion of the operation to apprehend the governor of the Islamic State, Hachem Bousedra, who is implicated in the arrival of terrorists in our country, is an act for which we salute the courage of the deterrence and fight against terrorism and organized crime, as well as all active security services. Confronted with this important issue, demanding accountability from those who shed the blood of our children and prosecuting the propagators of terrorism in our country is a national duty from which we will not deviate.”

Note that the Service for Deterrence and Combating Terrorism and Organized Crime in Libya revealed last night the arrest of a man known as “Khoubayb”, who was named head of the organization as as emir of the borders. This person directly facilitated the terrorists’ entry into Libya and their movement between cities, before being designated emir of the organization known as the “Libyan Wilaya”, and the agency added that it would broadcast, soon, the confessions of the accused.
