ASSE: Khazri breaks silence at Rothen ignites!

Guest of the sports program on RMC, “Rothen ignites”,  Wahbi Khazri clarified: “This season, we (Sainté) obviously did not have the level to play in Ligue 1, the guys delivered 200% but on this scale, they are skilful players, high level, which make the difference.”

Khazri totally rejected having negotiated a maintenance bonus only for the players of Saint-Étienne, stressing: “I went to see Loïc Perrin (DS) so that we could award the medical staff, the women who do our laundry and the workers……” he said.

“The players in the locker room informed me that it would be good if, as captain, I went to see if there was a bonus or not. I told them “guys, we’re last, it’s complex”.

At the end of the interview, Wahbi hopes that the next owners of AS Saint-Étienne will be invested and concerned , stating: “When you are a shareholder, you have to be present and love this club. Romeyer is in love with this club, Caïazzo, I don’t know, I haven’t seen him…”.
