At least 3 killed in bomb attack in Philippines

Tragically, at least three people were killed and seven others injured in an explosion in Marawi, Philippines, as reported by authorities on Sunday. The bomb attack specifically targeted a Catholic mass service being held in the gymnasium of Mindanao State University, according to regional police chief Allan Nobleza.

Nobleza indicated that the police are actively investigating the incident, aiming to determine whether the blast resulted from an improvised explosive device (IED) or a grenade. As of now, there are no identified suspects, and the motive behind the attack remains unclear.
