At least 50 dead after Kentucky tornadoes

At least 50 people are likely to have died after several tornadoes passed through the American state of Kentucky.

“We believe our death toll from this event will exceed 50 Kentuckians, probably end up closer to 70 to 100 lost lives,” Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear told reporters on Saturday and added preliminary investigations showed four tornadoes hit the state.

Earlier in the day, media reported multiple Amazon workers have been trapped in a warehouse in Illinois after a tornado caused the building to collapse.
