At least 51 dead in North Macedonia nightclub fire

At least 51 people were killed after a fire broke out in a nightclub in the town of Kocani in North Macedonia, the country’s Interior Minister Pance Toskoski said on Sunday. Additionally, over 100 people were injured.

According to the North Macedonian media, the fire reportedly broke out during the performance of light effects at a concert in the nightclub.

Furthermore, the media reported that the concert organizers were arrested, while the Interior Ministry said is investigating all the circumstances of this accident, adding that it will provide more information soon.
