At least 60 killed in Afghanistan floods

At least 60 people have died and over 100 have been wounded as a result of flash floods from seasonal rains in Baghlan province, northern Afghanistan, local media stated on Saturday, quoting the Interior Ministry Spokesman Abdul Mateen Qaniee.

The floods caused significant property damage in several districts. The death toll is preliminary and may rise as more people are missing. Rescue teams have been dispatched to the affected areas, and emergency personnel are searching for victims. Tents, blankets, and food have been provided to those affected.
